***Happy Moon Festival!***

Happy Moon Festival to you all^^

The Moon Festival also known as the Mid Autumn Festival or in Chinese Zhong qui jie is a very popular festival in China!

From wikipedia:
The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is in September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a date that parallels the autumnal equinox of the solar calendar, when the moon is at its fullest and roundest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties.
On this day the whole family come together and celebrate" just being together as a family".
Is also very common to buy very expensive mooncakes to friends or people that are older than youself.

I love this festival not just because the yummy mooncakes or its story (u should check out!),
also because is my lunar birthday lol

I mean what a day to have birthday, right?

Even though I have a lot to do this day,
we wanted to try to go eating somewhere~

Hope u guys have a very nice day today!!

xin~
