Happy Mid Autumn Festival everyone

The Mid Autumn Festival (in Chinese 中秋节) also called Moon Festival is an important lunar harvest festival. Its roots date back 3000 years.

It's a cultural heritage that I love. 

The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar, which is in September or early October in the solar calendar. Usually it is celebrated with the whole family sitting together and eating mooncakes. The younger ones gift the elderly with a pair of mooncakes.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is special to me because on this day I have my lunar calendar birthday So I have lots of happy memories with my family when I was younger.

Also this year is Sooyoonas Birthday too. Happy Birthday to you my dear !

Blushes are one of my favourite make up. That's why I decided to upgrade it ! Now I have 3 blushes that I really like to use. This one, then one from MAC and my old one from Jill Stuart.

The quality of the packaging is amazing. It felt precious and special to me.

I would describe the colour as subtle and natural. A rose-peachy shade with a little bit of shimmer.  The brush is quite small so you can apply the colour very exactly. Oh it smells of roses ! So nice  

You can get some but not all colours at Yesstyle too.

ZOYA nail polish in "Cheri"

Finally I made a post for one of my favourite nail polishes. 

Zoya nail polish in "Cheri". I wore this all week with a thin top coat from OPI. It has an amazing liability.

The colour is a rich rose-mauve with warm red undertones and strong golden shimmer. A comforting rose shade that's especially suited for autumn. It compliments my skin tone better than pure red.

It's a gift from Sooyoona.  

I'm quite happy with this!  

Sweet Inspiration

I went to Neo Tokyo a while ago to check the store (once a while I have to haha ).  

Neo Tokyo is a japanese manga/merchandise/music/dvd store located in Munich and Berlin in Germany. 

I picked up some Sweet magazines but never came up to post them. Sweet is one of my favourite magazines. They feature so many cute styles  

My very first Cher bag!

I will scan some lovely pages from these for future reference!  

CLARINS Colour Quench Lip Balm #07 strawberry sorbet

First lip gloss in years! 



There are two reasons why I avoided lip glosses... I hated the sticky feeling and it's complicated to use. I tried some in the past though. One from Candydoll and a few from Canmake. 

None of them convinced me in the long run.  

But since I've moved to a new place I found a huge drugstore which offers make up items from Clarins. You can also get these Colour Quench Lip Balms through Yesstyle. I wanted to try them because of their simple and nice packaging.

Also I can feel I've changed as well. So I'm ready for lip gloss lol
